I think we should focus more on the base one the celestine peaks. Its vital. Plus if you've read the fluff again theres something else there...

Hail fellow Guard commanders. This is Brevet Colonel Cornelius Keynes of the 24th Fenian Foot (Grenadiers and Heavy infantry with light armor and artillery support). How may we be of service?
(I can regularly play against Nids, Eldar, Chaos, and Necrons, and sometimes Orks and DE; rarely Tau)

I reported my first battle (victorious slaughter over 'Nids) in Celestine Peaks, but I didn't mark it as supporting any ops. Will do from here on out, though.

Its quite fine Colonel. For the operation just state in your bat-rep that your are defending the celestine peak base. If you havent already I would read the background report in the other thread on this board.

Good the more members gives us a better chance to drive the orks right back. On the other hand using so many in one place that only needs a certain amount is pointless so i believe we should apoint a new task while we round up here? Any thoughts? Nice to see you all for the good!

We could start preparing the ground work for our assualt on orkopolis. Recon operations and such.
Small assualts on the city taking out key things. Such as power and water supplies. Kill-teams would probably be best for this.
how about Operation Seek and Destroy?

First we need to have control of the celestine peaks base. These missions are prepatory. The main body of our forces still needs to be committed to operation shield of the aquila. The marines will take operation seek and destroy for now.

Nice ideas again Scorpio, it wll be good for us to find the cities weak points e.g. sewers and infiltration . Ok then the idea could be of this operation in not just that but have a sort of blue print of the city so once we are in, we can find major location within once the walls are breached agreed? Agreed. These kill-teams should target comms-stations water supplies, food supplies, and higher up orks. The idea is leave the city in chaos(well more chaos, the orks are already there ;D)
I'll have a battle to report later tonight.

I sent some marines to aid the Eldar in the glasswind heights. If you have been reading the Hope for a respite bit you will understand. My aim is to force the Eldar in sharing with their discovery. I have also secretly been infiltrating calladus assassins into the eldar force, so if they betray me I aim to kill their leaders when I join battle with them, if it comes to that. The assassins were travelling with the marines who are embedded with the Eldar, so it should be easy for them to infiltrate into the Eldar forces during joint battles with them as allies. They can also keep tabs on the eldar progress in searching out this ship they have discovered.
