Under this week its posted as not making the cut off and has a link to the bat rep I posted under week 1. I assumed it was going to count for 2nd week. If not let me know and I will play another battle for the campaign.

That battle was posted while I was putting up the Weekly Update - it will be used for Week 2.
You can still play another game or two if you'd like, though. The reporting cap is 3 games per week...

Woops I was confused.
Well sounds good. Back to strategy, Should we focus on a specific race? By numbers Orks and Eldar are most dangerous.
Also a plot to get behind would be good. I would suggest ideas but I know too much. I will recommend that it be audacious(sp?) It can really be anything so think away.

Right now if you have read my battle report, the next thing for my guard is to prepare a defense again the orks at the colony, this will be like a seige and we are defending, so if anyone wants to support this operation (name not decided) it would be very helpfull so what are your thoughts on this idea?

Sounds good. I say we report under this operation for about 2 weeks then make our move on orkopolis.
For a name Operation Shield of the Aquila?

The 10th Clancannach Mountain Rangers (predominantly Light Infantry) are available to support Operation Shield of the Aquilla. I too agree that it would be a good idea to stabalise the defensive positions, which will give heavy regiments and marines something to crush the enemy onto.

Ok here we go from now until week 4 this will be are main priority ok unless you have something else you wish to do, please do
Operation Shield of the Aquila: colonelc I thought that if you made your way back to the peaks you could counter assault the on coming hordes from behind a bit like the helms deep battle.
So the members taking place in this are: Master Corvinus Scorpio carenthos colonelc (please get back to us whether you can)
Now I was thinking about how to stage all of this so I'm going by Lord of the rings again and saying that the main city is built by one of the peaks so the idea would be that we would defend a wall each North wall with main gate, West wall and the East wall. Once we have got to week 4 we will advance on the mega city Orkopolis with support from the space marines which will be holding the peaks.
OK if you have any idea please do tell to patch this idea up or make a new one.

I'll be dancing around the flanks of our enemies causing havoc ;D Also the city is made into the peaks. Theres obviously some on top but theres lots in the mountain too. Re-read the starting fluff. It might help with bat-reps.

Shouldn't we fortify the beach, I'm sure we have the manpower (there's a whole subcontinent at our disposal)? Then the orks could be stopped by blowing up their boats. If we did this, some forces would have to act as a mobile reserve to stop stuff coming in behind us from space/the webway; who's got a mechanised infantry force?

We cant report battles at the beach and its far better to fortify the smaller area of the base. Since we have about 5 people we dont really have enough manpower and orbital troops could still land.

Reports are given in the general area, so you could report fortifying the beach. It is a very large area to cover, though.

Perhaps we should start smaller then, the lunar base seems to be particularly critical
