Are we going to form some kind of plan (strategically and narratively) to coordinate our efforts now the campaign has started?
I have opened this thread to begin discussion, foremost I think is whether to concentrate on the hulk or the planet.

I might be playing alittle guard for this(i might borrow my friends) So I wont suggest a strategy but I agree we need one. Someone should be leader and it would be really good to coordinate with marines and =][=.

I think we should focus on the planet.

I agree with colonelc with going straight to the planet, maybe a pincer movement would be a good strategy?

Well if we all state what we have at our disposal then we can work out which is the best option. guardsmenhawke you have a tank heavy regiment so you could be the hammer of the operations and anyone else with a tanks heavy regiment could support one another. Then others with a main force of men would act as the anvil, while we have a strike force like drop troops etc... are we all following

Its good to see a strategy going. I have a light infantry regiment at my disposal.
guardsmenhawke-you wouldnt be the imperial leader you would be in charge of the guard.

the cadian 400th is a infantry heavy force but due to the prescience of the 100th cadian armored cavalry they can Field many tanks as well.

Ok then so far we have: guardsmenhawke- Tank Heavy Scorpio- Light infantry colonelc- Heavy infantry and Tanks Master Corvinus- Heavy infantry veterans
Now with that sorted we can now choose where we are going to attack etc... as colonelc has said he is in the northern region, so the idea i was thinking of was to support each other and not just go where ever and die because you have no support. So lets say if guardsmenhawke teamed up with Scorpio you do now lack anything so you would balance each other out ok. Anyone have any other ideas or should I just carry on with this one?
On the leader thing I would take up the role but I believe it should be like a pole of choice so if you want to be the leader just say and we can get a pole going to choose that would be easier.

Sounds good. My main army will be marines this campaign so if any one needs heavy support ;D Just call in the cavalry.
But Everything sounds good. This is just a total suggestion but here me out.
I was force commander Hydra zone(marines) for Med V. What we did was split up into battlegroups and then we could assign them to different locations as need be.(obviously we had a few more people)
Thats for our General to decide though. And I'd say Master Corvinus is a fine choice but if anyone else wants to step up go ahead. Polls tend to take too much time so I'd suggest just nominations in this thread or something.

Seeing as the campaign has already started I will take up the role, Scorpio an excelent suggestion there about the battle group I think we should go for that, at the time being. Right then we have to think about target locations for example: In the week one update i says about the nortern peninsula have not as yet met resistance. Also about Sororitas seem ready to attack the center of the Ork mega-city should be another priority.
Any thoughts? I will a point battle groups once i have got in touch with the space marines and =][= ok

There are few SM at the moment. Its really just me and alex. =][= are growing with more people so we should talk to them.
On the matter of targets we dont even need to worry about the hulk. I have(singlehandedly) taken the chaos woods and we dont really need anything there. I think we need to win the celestine peak before anything else. Then maybe the attack on the celestine peaks.

Well, I have landed forces on the hulk with the primary aim of searching out its secrets, so I guess the space marines have that angle covered. I have crushed some eldar there already. I have also landed one company on the celestian peaks and soundly beat some elder there as well (they're everywhere!) If you need assisstance on planet feel free to ask. I can play against tyranids and orks as well as my regular eldar opponent so I could lend "support" where needed. (I could also play against Imperial guard, but that wouldn't help much!) Since I didn't get my bat rep posted in time for last week Ive got my two already for this week, though.
