As the battle barge drifted in system it started powering systems and charging weapons.
"Chaplain! There is another battle barge in orbit around the planet. It from the WarSeers chapter."
"Open a frequency."
"Done sir."
"This is Chaplain Zadakiel of the Angels Imperator. We received your distress signal and came as soon as possible. We put our battle barge Death's Retribution at your disposal...What do you need?"
After a seemingly long pause
"Welcome Chaplain, we are suprised by how quickly you have responded. It is good to have you. Take up position near the northern pole of Tiorl 7."
"We are doing so now."
"Chaplain sir we are detecting something else...I'm not sure what it is. Sensor only resolve a large shape."
"Asteroid?"
"No sir...its too large and moving in a very atypical path for this system. It will be in visual range when we reach the pole."
" ETA to pole?"
"5 minutes"
"Notify when we can see it."
"Yes sir."
He stepped off the bridge. He hated being in space but it was a necessary evil. He walked down the corridor, his black armor seeming to glisten in the dark, heading for the Captain's quarters. When he got there he stopped at the door and knocked
"Captain Alekseyev?"
"Enter Zadakiel."
He stepped in, once again suprised at how spartan the chambers were. Apart from a few minor war trophies there was nothing but a bed and a desk. But once again he realized that every marines quarters were like this.
"Sir we ahve entered the system and made contact with the WarSeers Battle barge. They have not yet noticed the remainder of our forces on the ground."
"Good. We must keep it that way and find them."
"Yes sir...."

2200 hours emperor class battle ship guardian of Manchuria briefing room 5 days to combat drop
"Soldiers of the 400th cadian this is a very important brefing...so you had better listen up!" boomed general Paige
To the average on looker Paige's youth would shock most but as all of the company commanders present knew Paige had received a nasty plasma burn during a boarding Acton when she was nineteen and though the medics had rebuilt her face it had not aged a day since. In truth none of them knew how old she was.
"Now we all know why we are here to liberate Tiorl 7, the opening strategy is this our first attack will be here." said Paige pointing at a holo display of Tiorl 7, this sector here has been under siege ends in five days! the attack will commence at the planets night cycle, we will be part of the first wave along with the 100th cadian armored cavalry, flowed by the 122th,501st,and 450th cadian regiments in short were going to give those orks a wakeup call they will never forget!"
As she finished a huge cheer went up from the regiment and she knew they would find glory in this battle.

The Lunar class cruiser Holy Justice burst into realspace in a flash of light, closely followed by the rest of its squadron. Battlegroup prylien had recieved the distress calls from Tiorl 7 and had hurried to its aid.
As the group approached the system, sensors began to pick up a battle between a multitude of ork ships and various space marine craft, among them ships of the warseers and angels imperator chapters. As they approached a strike vessel broke into pieces. As they came in range the squadrons weapons opened fire catching the orks by suprise, their clumsy ships struggling to face the new threat. This gave the marine craft the chance they needed and they streaked for the hulk drifting slowly sunbound. The navy vessels continued past the orcs and speed towards Tiorl 7.
On board Holy Justice the men of the 10th Clancannach Mountain Rangers braethed a sigh of relief and began to check weapons in readiness for the landing. The drop would be taken directly into the Celestine Peaks as the units there needed relieving badly, leave the hulk to the astartes the guard's concern were the beleaguered men on the ground.

"Master Micheal, is your team ready?"
"Yes Inquisitor, my fellow Grey Knights and I are entering the system now."
"Good, Micheal you will be under the command of a Space Marine Captain who is coordianting the assault and defense of the barge and the planet. His name is Commander Avian of the WarSeers chapter. Report to him and him alone."
"Understood."
With that Master Micheal opened a Vox-Link to his fellow Grey Knights.
"Men! We have arrived in the Tiorl System, and meeting up with the commander in charge here. I am asking all members of the Ordo Malleus strike team to stay aboard our cruiser."
"Yes sir!" A hundred voices chimed in at once.
"Techpriest, send a communique to Avian's ship and explain our arrival and situation."
The Techpriest nodded and at once the communication screen was opened.
"What is it? I am extremely busy and I have no time for the interference of the Inquisition."
"My apoligies Commander, I am Master Micheal of the Ordo Malleus, I will meet with you and you alone to inform you of the situation and who I am. Go with the Emperor"
"Fine, meet me in my quarters, I will provide you docking clearence."
"There is no need captain, just give us the exact coordinates of your quarters, we prefer not to make our presence known yet."
Avian nodded and gave Micheal the coordinates before disconnecting and walking to his quarters. With that Micheal and his Terminator squad teleported onboard the Battle Barge and were waiting for Avian when he arrived. Avian was immediately taken back by the presence of 8 Fully armed and armoured Grey Knight terminators, men who towered even over normal marines.
"Commande, please come in we have much to discuss......"

Grand Master Forgal looked back at what his Task Force and Task Force Golden Kracken had accomplished on Thyres VII. Once again the Ordo Malleus had whipped out a daemonic infestation . This time it was a child that had brought the powers of Chaos.
"Grand Master Forgal" said Inquisitor Lord Nicodemus. Task Force Silver Osprey mission is done here. There is another mission that the Inquisition has for your task force. You are to depart for the Tiorl system.
"What is the mission? Inquisitor Lord Nicodemus" Grand Maser Forgal asked. A warp storm has left the Tiorl system and we are receiving distress signals. Inquisitor Lord Nicodemus paused for a moment. There is also a hulk floating in the system running silent. It seems to have characteristics of possession.
Grand Master Forgal *nodded in his terminator helm*
You are to investigate the hulk and provide support for the planet if there are any signs of daemonic infestation. Is that under stood Grand Master. It is understood Inquisitor Lord.
Brief the task force on the mission ahead. Be ready to deploy when we reach the Tiorl system.

The Forlorn Hope began to slip through the tear between the warp and realspace.
The navigator spoke up "Master, we have left warp space and entered the Tiorl system. Awaiting further orders” Ever dutiful.
Tarrant looked up. The main monitor sprang to life displaying the Tiorl system. Or at least what was left of it, Tarrant mused, noticing the destroyed remains of Tiorl 4. The massive hulk was also something new. He didn't like this. Too many variables and unknowns.
“Take us into Tiorl 7 orbit” Tarrant turned to his right. “Kavin, take your company and land at the Celestine peaks. Investigate and proceed at your discretion. We may need to establish a base there as well. There should be Angels Imperator there, but do not trust them overmuch.”
Captain Kavan made a slight quizzical look.
“The system was covered in a massive warp storm for centuries. Who knows what may have been corrupted. Also take Midian with you. Take whatever support elements you feel are necessary. I trust your judgment.”
Tarrant pointed to the image of the hulk on one monitor. Kavan leaned over. “I plan on landing the third and forth companies on the hulk to investigate it fully. I will keep the First Company in reserve. Stay in contact. Go, prepare your men. May the Emperor guide you.”
“Aye sir” The massive figure of Kavan turned and strode from the room as only a space marine can.
Tarrant turned his attention back to the multiple screens before him. Hmmm. Other battle barges were entering system to join the ones already there. The Deaths Retribution was there. So was the Nauta Astarum. The imperial guard was sure to follow.
The massive hulk. A planet sized eyesore. If there was anything worth having from that hulk Tarrant was determined that the Blood Dragons would be the first to recover it.

Klaxons blared throughout the Sword-class frigate Absolution, and Lieutenant Colonel Eric Porter was flung from his bunk, as the mighty warship shook from repeated weapons impacts. The commander of the 24th Fenian's 3rd Battalion pulled himself to a reasonably upright stance, and balanced on shaky legs while his eyes adjusted to the ruddy emergency lighting. The deck canted, and the colonel fell to the plating once more. As he struggled to rise, the ship's internal vox rang out with the voice of Absolution's bosun. "Now hear this. Now hear this: Absolution is suffering from multiple hull breaches on decks two through seven. Prepare to evacuate, all hands. That is all." Porter finally reached his equipment locker, and grabbed his boots, pistol belt, and helmet. Still clad in only his night clothes, he staggered from his cabin and, activating the micro-bead link in his helmet, called his XO. "Captain Aaronson, I need you to get the lads roused up and on the drop ships, yesterday." "Yessir! I'm on it as we speak." The other's voice was tired, and haggard. It was obvious he'd just gotten up himself.
By the time Porter reached the docking bay, passing teams of the ship's armsmen detail every few meters, the first squads of grenadiers were already finishing the last-minute inspections of the grav chutes, and the other troops were double-checking the security of the heavy equipment. The Bay doors opened, revealing a brilliant blue orb, taking up an ever-increasing portion of the view. Porter's eyes were drawn to a small chain of mountains in the southern portion of the primary landmass; it was there that the evacuees would land. "Right lads!" He roared over the rising din of drop ship engines. "Time to redeem our one-way tickets."
