Well this a bit off topic, but I did not know where to post it.
I woke up today with a rash/scar, I can't tell which, on my arm. Weird, I don't remember falling and cutting my uperarm arm... Ohh well... But, then, in the shower I realized, much to my horor, that the mark on my arm looked *exactly* like the symbol for Khorne. I'm talking exact replica. So, if you here me start screaming about blood and skulls for the throne of khorne or any such nonesense, call your local Inquisitor.
Ohh well, it rained pretty hard today, even hailed a little bit. First big rain of the season.

Bah rain is nothing. Tell about it once you've had 10 inches of snow(and the Twin Cities was on the edge of the storm)
And aggg the coldest you've had it is 29 degrees?
It was -40 here for awhile(i am including wind chill)!
Bah! -Scorpio

I was sort of being sarcastic about how it is just barely raining, yet you guys are snowed in!

Most people who live in places that snow that much (EG Canada, so I should know), can deal with most storms. Its only really the smaller cities in the snow belt (just below lake ontario, in western New York) that get snowed in. The larger cities have fleets of snowplows, and salt trucks.
Oh and Witchking92, let us know if you start growing any horns, or other extra bits. Then send pictures. I always wanted to model some chaos Orks.

I was jokin too. and rddragon is right. Minneapolis has a small fleet of snow plows. Though they're sayin that over the next 2 days or so we could get 20 inches (laughs) forecasters are never right.(I apologize if any of you are forecasters ;D)

Northeast Mississippi - 2 hours southeast from the Memphis Battle Bunker. Boycotting that store right now though. Balmy 60-70 degree weather means more outside work and less time for 40k Richmond, Virginia, US here! Hey Grevane. Where do you game in Richmond? Went up that way on a paintball trip late last year in Hopewell. Took a drive up to Richmond to look around but didn't see anything. 'May' try to go back this year. Stony Point Fashion Park. there is the only GW shop in Richmond there, up next to Dicks Sporting Goods. Its a very small shop but has a fun crowd.

Yes, I was snowed in for a couple days. My road still isn't plowed, so I just shovelled half of it myself. The neighbor did the other half. I'm still technically in a Blizzard warning until March 3 at 6 A.M.
I wasn't prepared for this blizzard at all. Last weekend I was set up at a friend's house near my work and all we did was play 40K for half a day. This time, I'm snowed in. I will probably not have any games for week 3.

I hate you You insult my job, and I(and other weatherman) have scientific procedures that we go through to prodict the weather. I mean, looking out the window is a scientific proccedure, right? I mean, looking out the window is a scientific proccedure, right? In all fairness, the Midwest of the US is supposedly one of the worst areas for predicting the weather. We're apparently where the Jetstream, air from the Gulf of Mexico, air from the Great Lakes, and air from the cold North all get together and have a party - billing it to predictability. Yes, I was snowed in for a couple days. My road still isn't plowed, so I just shovelled half of it myself. The neighbor did the other half. I'm still technically in a Blizzard warning until March 3 at 6 A.M. You shoveled half your road? You are one crazy guy. I suppose I could manage that, but... my back aches just from considering it. Neither of my shovels will survive this winter. The plastic one with a metal strip to reinforce the edge has already split down the middle, and the metal one is finally succumbing to the abuse of the ice - its front edge is bending and wasn't working too well. In a rather Orky moment, I straightened most of the edge with a hammer. It works much better now - job's a gud 'un.

When I say road, it is only about 10 yards long and a path 3 yards across. I had to get to work, and my road is a low priority for plowing. Once I got off my road, the driving was fine.
I couldn't believe that they close I-35S going into Iowa. It must be a total disaster area down there. Stay safe.
