Huthero the War-Rider was perhaps the most experienced Autarch to ever walk the path of war. For millennia he fought the Great Enemy, She Who Thirsts, and had done battle with the Dead Ones, the Necrons to some. As an Autarch he had walked many paths, save that of the Seer, and he donned many Visages in the service of his Craftworld. He first walked the Path of the Fire Dragon, learning to destroy the enemies of the Eldar with fire and fusion. He then choose to walk the Path of the Swooping Hawk, raining death and destruction from the skies. For a time he was a student of Karandras the Shadow Hunter among the adepts of the Striking Scorpions. He served under Asurmen as a disciple of the Dire Avengers, learning the art of the Shuriken. His time with the devotees of Khaine as the Destroyer taught him the value of destruction from a distance. Finally, after many thousands of years of service to the Eldar race, he met the great Eldred Uthrun himself. As he bowed before the great Seer, Eldred went into a standing trance. He had a great vision of Huthero striding across the depths of space, leading a great host to war against the servants of the Great Enemy and against the Necrons, the ancient enemy of their race. Upon his visions conclusion, Eldred spoke to the leaders of Faseron and advised that they give Huthero increasing leadership tasks. Huthero rose quickly and eventually came to command the Craftworld on matters pertaining to war. His vast experience in all aspects of the Eldar way made him the ideal warrior. He was as deadly at a distance as he was up close.
He wielded a great dire sword, which he himself had crafted. It was imbued with the essence of 100 fallen Eldar, all of whom were with Huthero on a campaign in the Gasterui system. Their ship had been downed, and they had been pinned down behind Necron lines. For months they led daring raids and stole to survive. Every warrior swore fell oaths to aid his brothers in life as well as death. It was Guardian Sasmial who first had his soul placed into the sword. Before the battle where he died, he asked Huthero to put his soulstone in the blade should he die. Such was his devotion to his Autarch that he wanted to serve long after death. One by one every Eldar there swore to have his soul placed in the blade upon his death, even Huthero. The last surviving member would wield the blade, and hopefully live to see that his brothers were avenged. In the end, only Huthero was left, and for every warrior who fell, he shed a tear, and swore a great oath of vengeance. For every Eldar who died during their exile on the planet, 100 Necrons would taste his blade. Since that day, he has been a crusade to cleanse the stars of Necron taint. His blade is known as the Blade of the Fallen, or the Guthwaseth. In all his service since that campaign, no other hand has touched the sword, nor will they even upon his death. Huthero’s soulstone is forever tied with the blade, and should he fall, his soul will be absorbed into the weapon as well. If this happens, the blade will be teleported into the Infinity Matrix of the Craftworld, finally allowing his brothers the peace they deserve.
Besides his blade, Huthero wore the finest armor the Craftworld could produce. His left vambrace had a built in Shuriken Catapult, a testament to his years as a Dire Avenger. His colors were not those of the Craftworld, as he needed to stand out in battle. His armor was the color of Blackest Night, a symbol of his constant mourning for the brothers of the sword. It was accented with brilliant white, a testament to his resolve to avenge them. Finally his helmet was darkest red, painted it was said, in the blood of his fallen warriors. Guthwaseth glowed with pure white light, which turned brilliant orange when he fought the Necrons, as the souls inside could feel them and became enraged. He wore a cloak of finest weave, also blood red, which he swore never to remove until his oath had been fulfilled. He vowed to personally slay 10,001 Necrons, and he will not rest until he does. 10,000 will fall for his brother’s deaths, and one will be slain to fulfill the pact he made with his brothers. He has fought many battles since then, and has always sought personal combat as opposed to leading from the rear. Many fear that he will fall before fulfilling his oath and that his soul will never find peace, even in the pools of the Infinity Matrix.
For this reason above all, his knowledge and experience, Huthero has been chosen to lead the assembled army into battle. However, Huthero cannot unravel the threads of time, and so a seer was chosen to accompany him. Uawerteth the Everseeing would be his companion and guide for the campaign. Huthero had first met Uawerteth during a campaign in the Boilas System. By this time Huthero was a full Autarch and was wielding Guthwaseth. He had seen much, and even he had been impressed with Uawerteth’s power and clarity of sight. They had fought together there, and with each battle Huthero was more and more impressed. Uawerteth was more than just a seer, he was a fearsome warrior. On the battlefield he wielded the Eldritch Magics with unparalleled prowess, and his staff was a blaze of light as he swung it gracefully. During one battle with the Mon-Keigh he cam face to face with a Space Marine Librarian. It was a deceptive battle as neither moved. However, in the depths of their minds, they waged a private war. No one could see the battle, but they could see the effects. Great craters appeared on the planet and debris and chunks of rock were flung back and forth as the warp energy was released. So great was the titanic struggle that raw warp began to bleed into real space, contaminating the planet. After many minutes, which seemed as though hours to the two, the Librarian collapsed, muttering incoherently, his mind shattered. Since that day, Uawerteth has earned more and more respect from Huthero and the two have become fast friends. It was a natural choice for Huthero to pick Uawerteth to accompany him.
In battle, Uawerteth wields his staff and wears the traditional armor of a seer. His helmet is his only true distinguishing feature, as it is a great 3 pronged helm. It makes him appear much taller and fearsome, and serves as a rallying point in battle. He wears bright blue armor, covered in brilliant white runes of power. His helm is purest white, and is also covered in runes, though these are blue. His cloak billows behind him, and his etched with Uawerteth’s personal rune of power. While on a seer quest deep within himself, Uawerteth saw a great rune shining in the sky. It glowed with Eldritch power and floated down and landed upon Uawerteth’s brow, and he was infused with power. He woke from the vision more powerful than before, and immediately began creation of his cloak. A combination of wraithbone and cloth, it can stiffen upon a psychic command, serving as a slight shield in battle. It will not stop a bullet or sword, but will slow them enough that Uawerteth may perhaps dodge away. During the Aslanta campaign, he will serve as the guide to Huthero and help him chose the path to victory.
Finally, Huthero’s direct second of command, he choose a one from among his own Craftworld. Exarch Beathier was the Lord of Destruction and the commander of the Destroyers. He had led the Dark Reapers for as long as anyone would remember. No one had ever seen his face, as he removed the helmet only in private. Long ago, no one knows how long, he had lost his right arm. Instead of having a prosthetic replace his old one, Beathier had his Reaper Cannon mounted where his arm was. He could remove it at will, and on command it would retract onto his back, so that he might wield his power sword with greater ease. After millennia at war, Beathier had collected a variety of trophies and injuries. The most noticeable however, was the Mon-Keigh power knife jutting from his shoulder. Beathier could have easily had it removed, but he chose to leave it as a reminder to lapse in defense. It has been painted black to match his armor, but it still very noticeable. Beathier was large for an Eldar, but has lost none of grace, it only served to make him more menacing. He went to battle in the traditional black armor of his temple, and also wore the Face of Death. This great helm had been passed down from Exarch to Exarch and was instantly recognizable on the battlefield. It had a great feathered plume on it, which was colored in the methods of the Reapers. It was alternating black and purple, just like his armor. His face plate was the white skull of the reapers, and his armor was decorated with the morbid symbols of his temple. His great cloak billowed behind him, making him appear even larger and fearsome. So dark black was armor that he seemed as a hole on the battlefield, an instant signal of death. He would lead the armies in Huthero’s absence and would command the fire support during the campaign.
These were the chosen leaders of the Eldar forces, and together they formed the tip of a spear so deadly none could stand against it. With their army assembled and the leaders at the ready, the Eldar were prepared to do battle with their ancient foes once again.
“The Mon-Keigh prepare to strike the behemoth even now, even their pitiful seers can sense its importance! We must act,” urged Uawerteth, advising the council to attack.
“Patience Uawerteth, the Eldar will attack when the time is right, we will not waste effort needlessly,” Farseer Inweser said, calming the irate seer. “It is true the Mon-Keigh will strike soon, and it would greatly benefit us to reach the ship first.”
“The Hulk will not give up its secrets so easily. It was created by those who are now long vacant from this galaxy. We must be cautious in our dealings with it. The Exodite Scouts also report the presence of the Dead Ones, we must be on our guard,” Farseer Fultheos commented.
“I will lead the Eldar to the Hulk, once we arrive, we will determine our course from there. Farseer Uawerteth, and Exarch Beathier will accompany me, and together we will decide the Hulk’s fate.” With that, Autarch Huthero effectively ended the discussion. “We leave immediately, prepare the fleet, and inform our brethren we leave with all possible haste.”
Huthero spun on his heel and swept out of the Craftworld’s council chamber, leaving the other Farseer’s to discuss among themselves.
“He knows not the course he plots,” Fultheos thought to the others.
“He will guide them true enough Fultheos, have faith,” Inweser thought back.
“He cannot see what we have seen, he goes to his doom,” Fultheos thought again.
“We should not keep this information from him, he has earned the right to this knowledge,” Uawerteth interjected.
“Speak not of this to him Uawerteth, what we have seen, will be shared when the time is right, but not until then! Remember your oath to this council,” High Farseer Zasthero thought in reply, her thought’s tone showing her irritation.
“But without such knowledge he may very well go to his death, and will take our brother’s with him. Let me share this with him,” Uawerteth pleaded one last time.
“You swore your oath, now keep it tight, lest your status be stripped and you yourself are forced into exile. The Council has decided. He shall not know now, but perhaps in the future, we shall extend the knowledge to him. Now go, accompany him and guide as best you can, but REMEMBER YOUR OATH!” Her thoughts boomed in his head.
“Yes Milady, I will go, and I remember my oath, but please, for the last time I urge you to reconsider.”
With that, he too left the council chambers.

Just wondering if its us two against what seems to be a proper mob of orks, and "a lone space marine with something to prove" (to steal a line from a 40k comic). Not that I have a problem with that just curious.

Just wondering if its us two against what seems to be a proper mob of orks, and "a lone space marine with something to prove" From the member list, we've got more than a couple of other players, and the Reps are all intending to play - just not be the factions' leaders. Skimming over titles today, it looks like we've got: 3 Chaos, 3 Eldar, 2 IG, 1 Inquisition, 2 Necrons, 4 Orks, and 1 Space Marine thus far - not counting the Reps and those who've yet to pick a faction. There's a fair spread of players, and there should be more before fighting begins. I'll bring in some of my usual group of DE, and there's going to be ads going up as the site becomes available (soon...). Fear not, Craftworlder, we shall have plenty of targets.

Indeed, we shall be outnumbered, but when, since the days of the Fall has it not been so? As always we are outnumbered, but do we fear them? Do we tremble before their numbers? NO! We let loose the Avatar of Khaine, the living incarntion of Kaela Mensha Khaine, the Fiery Destroyer of worlds, and with his blood flowing in our veins, we wreak destruction upon the filth of the galaxy!
And yeah, I'll be playing my Eldar, but prolly in tiny amounts cause no one in my area plays that I know of, maybe a game or two down at the local hobby shop, but that's it.

Fear not brethren you go not alone into the fight. Alaitoc stands with you!
I should be able to play about (or at least) 1 game a week. I have a regular opponent I get together with weekly, and can fight 1000-1500 pt games vs marines, Nids, or guard as needed.
I have posted my Intro story to the Batreps section under Xenos introductions. Please read it there.

The might of the Craftworld Mielnan stands beside you, my brethren. Long have I felt the pull of a terrible evil coming from this place... once I thought it was at the ill-fated world Medusa, but now... I have never felt it stronger than this "Plucked Eye".
I'll try to play at least one game a week, but I can get up to the max for sure if I manage to get down to my local HobbyTown on Fridays. Should be able to play against anything needed, but against Marines, Guard, and Tau for sure.

Welcome Althanan! If you read the thread labeled Communications you will see our plans so far. I am already planning a Landing on the Plucked Eye. If that is your destination as well I suggest we support one another in our narratives.
Good hunting! We need some victories, so far we have lost both of our games, and others have gained victory against their local Eldar players as well. I go into battle again tomorrow. Hopefully you will have a place to land on the Eye when you are ready.

I fully intend to land there, though I may "send a splinter force" to the surface lead by Mielnan's Autarch, as Necron and Chaos players are few and far between round here.
Got a game against the Tau on the morrow... should be fun.

I too lend a hand with a Iyanden battleforce. We have had to recruit from a great many other craftworlds to fill our ranks of Guardians but we are lead by the Autarch Razora, veteran of the Tyranid wars. We stand ready to assist our brothers in this system. We shall not fail.

Hey eveyrbody. Eldarcommander hasn't posted in a while, so I am going to take over for the forseeable future as your Eldar rep/fluff writer. So, the Orks haven't infilitrated your forums or anything, so don't freak out. My main opponent in the campaign has a 2500 point Eldar Army, so I know quite a bit about the fluff of the dying race.
So, Autarchs, Farseers, continue to deliberate and plan as you wish! By the way, you have been one of the three most organized factions this far in the campaign, you guys are really doing a great job integrating your stories and having a commen goal. From the update, I am pretty sure you can tell that the other most organized factions are the Imperim and the Orks, coincidentally, those three are the races I wrote the updates for this week.
So, if you have any questions about the Eldar, the campaign, or just a sneaky plan that you want to run by me, just PM me!
