Officially, the campaign was supposed to start Wednesday, but a few last-minute issues got in the way of opening more of the site. We'd like to apologize for that, and remind you that the campaign is indeed under way. You can now report your battles. To report a battle, first post a narrative for your battle here on the forum, and then go to this page: www1.freewebs.com/warmallet41k/CentariusBatRep.htmYou can also find the interactive campaign map here: www1.freewebs.com/warmallet41k/Centarius.htm

Some of you may have noticed a problem in accessing the other half of the site over the last day or so, and I'd like to assure you that this has been dealt with.
The webhost for the other half of the site (yes, we have multiple webhosts for this one site) did some routine maintenance without sending out notification of the upcoming downtime. During this maintenance, they changed servers and therefore made a tiny change to the web addresses of every page. For a while, they even had the site-design end mixed up so that I couldn't deal with things.
The links from the forum have been fixed (it changed from www1 to www), and everything should be fine.
ADDITIONAL: Just so everybody's clear on the matter, we're trying to get the Weekly Reports posted by Friday afternoons for this campaign.

Yes, the Weekly Report is usually up by now, but we need a day or two to finish going over the results and write up some proper narrative. We appreciate your patience in this matter, and hope to get the finale up soon. I blame the staffer keeping the numbers, that IncubiLord guy... Once again, thanks for waiting.

I know a few of you keep checking back, so I figured an announcement is in order.
At the moment, we do not have sufficient staff commitments to run another campaign. Barring an unforseen change in circumstances, it seems that we may not be running campaigns for a while.
Sorry, guys, but without the staff there can't be a campaign.

For those who have not seen the posts scattered across various forums, there is another group which will be starting a campaign in July. Here's their teaser:
Deep in the forgotten eastern fringes of the galaxy, a massive threat nears in the Centaurus Arm. This July, 40k players all over the world are invited to participate in the Centaurus Campaign, an independent online 40k campaign that will operate in similar fashion to GW-scale events. All factions will be open to participate, and the pertinent details of events leading up to the campaign and the plot for each army will be slowly revealed over the next few months. The campaign will use a phpBB framework, and will have a uniquely created PHP program to handle the campaign so people can register on the site to report battles, post in the forums, etc. The coded campaign system is based on three years of work over at Ulthuan.net and their online campaigns. People will be able to play games of 40k, apocalypse, Epic, and BFG and post them to the campaign that will span over several systems. Although there's not much up now, you can go to the campaign website and see the about page. For those interested in unraveling a mystery, a communication beacon deep in the Centaurus Arm has intercepted a transmission. Their computers are working on decoding the transmission. Perhaps you can jump into the source and decode it before the computer finishes? The transmission contains vital information pertaining to the plot of the campaign. Updates will continue to flow through, and watch plot updates because the Warseer Chapter is officially involved in the looming war!
I'd encourage those here looking to continue their narrative exploits to give this new campaign a try. Personally, I'm already working with the organizer to ensure that there's solid background, and the other staff from this site will likely be welcome to help as well.
