The narrative portion of all Necron battle reports should be posted here until next week's thread is set up.
Remember that this is a narrative campaign and we are looking for a story that advances the plot, not a blow-by-blow accounting of the game.

Lord JET analyzed the information being relayed to his command deck, while the engines activation had caught the other species by surprise they were reacting quickly to the new threat. The Lord was tracking Ork activity on the Lazarus Belt likely planting more targeting devices, the local Necrons were gathering up a large army in an attempt to take possession of the engines from him. From the North an Eldar force appeared to have been dispatched to attack the right flank of his defenses, while the warp creature he had encountered weeks ago had once more emerged from the Chaos Woods and was heading for the Lord JET's defense emplacements. It would be a busy week Lord JET hoped he had the numbers necessary to hold out against such concentrated strength.
The first concern was the huge Necron force assembling in preparation for a march on the engines, Lord JET could not afford to be bogged down in a pitched battle with the traitors while the faster alien forces took advantage and broke through. Lord JET needed to slow the traitors down.
The Orks would once again kindly donate the means by which to do so Lord JET thought with amusement as he targeted a small force of Orks attempting to hide another of their devices on the Hulk. The teleportation array activated, the Orks were proving to be most useful...

Lord JET analyzed the signal given out by his newly 'donated' targetor and ascertained the relevant Super Gun, as expected after a few hours there was a flash from the planet surface and Lord JET teleported the targetor amongst the traitor army, by the time they had ascertained its purpose it was too late...

The Eldar had fought well thought Lord JET as his troops went about the task of gathering their corpses, the Eldar had seemed to have allied with an as before unseen sub-group of their race which gave them surprising viciousness in hand to hand combat. No matter whatever the Eldar threw at the Necrons entrenchments would meet a similar fate. They would have to alter their tactics or continue to be fed to the Tyranids...

9 Days till planetary impact. Engine efficiency 90%
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
The Orks bombardment was gradually destroying the Hulk much to Lord JET's delight and as an added bonus the Orks neglect at targeting the engines had caused only a small amount of degradation in momentum. Not nearly enough to stop the holocaust that was heading to-wards the planet.
No, Lord JET was not concerned with the Orks, the host arrayed before him at present however was another matter entirely. Lord JET was used to being outnumbered on the battlefield but this was approaching the level of unwinnable, the Demon Prince had amassed a powerful force that literally writhed with warp energy, corrupted and muted humans backed up the large garrison of red armored humans.
As the humans began their advance they managed to open warp rifts out of which poured forth creatures huge in stature wielding archaic weapons, Lord JET quickly determined that his force would not be able to match the strength put before him, his forces already weakened from previous engagements.
As the Lord watched the Demon Prince tear into his second warrior squad and the humans advanced ever closer Lord JET considered retreat, there was still time. Moments later the Necron Lord heard the screeches of metal protesting around him some of the Necron ships debris began to move and warp around him. Without hesitation Lord JET fell to his knees along with his warrior retinue as the metal resolved itself into a huge figure clothed in a menacing black cape wielding a stylized scythe.
The being rose into the air on ethereal winds and roared out its rage, Lord JET understood what was expected of him and rose and directed his warriors to the attack. The C'tan it seemed had been content to wait while Lord JET's deception played out, now the time for subtlety was clearly at an end. Victory was no longer in any doubt, not even the spawn of Chaos can match the wrath of the Nightbringer.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
The battlefield was an impressive testament to the Nightbringers power, while the Demon Prince had eventually fallen to concentrated Destroyer fire and the Demon Allies had fallen to Lord JETs retinue, the Nightbringer had destroyed fully 2 squads of the humans, the 'Terminators' and the forces heavy artillery.
The Nightbringer issues its commands and departed for Lord JET's Tombship, with the Lords new found patron victory was inevitable. Tiorl 7 would die along with the traitor Necrons, and the Old Ones thrice cursed ship...
