The narrative portion of all Ork battle reports should be posted here until next week's thread is set up.
Remember that this is a narrative campaign and we are looking for a story that advances the plot, not a blow-by-blow accounting of the game.

Skargrubb looked at the map and pondered the situation. Typical Orks didn't ponder much, but then again Skargrubb wasn't a typical Ork. He was a Blood Axe through and through. He was a verteran of war on dozens of worlds. He was a "Beakie-Killa", a "Sissie krupah'" and the biggest boss of his army of mecenaries.
His band of Orks had been holed up in Dakkatown for weeks as they built and defended Dakkaslag's Zuper Gunz. Their goal was almost in site. Earlier in the week Skargrubb and an elite group of Speshwel Ops gitz had infiltrated a Necron tomb on the great hulk in the sky. They had placed a target homer deep within the catacombs of the Necron catacombs, where the Necrons wouldn't be able to find it; in the dead body an eldar that was among the hundreds that littered the cave. In mere minutes from fireing the gun. The Meks had primed the cannon, they had loaded the gun with a huge tube pack full of tens of basilisk shells. Along with plenty of other explosives.
"Boss, spikey boyz is commin'" shouted Durguz from outside the shack.
"What? Time to krump some spikey boyz. Gitz we gotta stop dem spikey boyz from gettin' to da gunz!" shouted the Warboss.
The orks grabed their weapons and run in several different directions, however, most of them went towards the gun battery, where the Chaos Marines were coming from.
"Kanz, get an' krump dem bikes. Durguz, take your boyz to krump dat bikey spikey walkah tank fing. Yeah dat one wit six legs!"
Skargrubb head towards the main gun, the one that was primed to fire, along with a horde of Orks. Skargrubb happened to glanced towards the south where a group of bikers were racing down the Ork flank. Skargrubb had glanced up just in time to see the lead biker be torn into a million pieces in a fountain of gore. Where the Chaos marine had stood, now appeared a huge eagle-humoniod. Though the orks certainly didn't know it, this was the Lord of Change, a Greater Daemon.
"Kanz, krump dat weedy git wit da wingz!" shouted Skargrubb.
Suddenly the group of Killer Kans opened fire with their weapons, tearing the Daemon apart. The Daemon screamed as it was slowly was ripped back towards the Warp. One of the Orks with a power claw delivered the final glow, snapping the Daemon into two pieces, although both dissapeered before they hit the ground.
Skargrubb looked up. A few Chaos Marines in blue and gold armor had almost reached the Gun.
"WaaaaaaaaggggggghhhH!!" screamed Skargrubb as he charged forward towards the Thousand Sons. He slammed into them at terminal velocity smashing several marines under his massive armor. He swung with his power claw and ripped several more marines in two. They were all dead before the rest of the orks had reached them.
The Chaos marines were all but shattered, soon there were none left.
"Ahh jus in time!" muttered Skargrubb "Time fo' da fia' works an da big boom!"
Sure enough, a mere ten seconds later the Cannon beleched fire and smoke and a huge shell was spit forth into the air. Skargrubb watched as the small dot in the sky flew towards the other big spot in the sky, the hulk. This was taking far too long. The cannon was spewing smoke in every direction, it would take a day or two at least to repair it.
Skargrubb looked up, again just in time, the smaller dot, now barely visible collided with the big dot. A huge flash of light and then nothing. The black dot was now glowing with a faint ting of orange.
Skargrubb laughed, he may be an Ork, but he was also a pyromaniac. Or maybe that was one in the same, Skargrubb didn't know.
