Impressive easye. A good idea for how to put the story across & the theme is nice too. I'd quite like to see some more of your writing easye.

I apologize for the lateness of my first report. I ended up having to work like crazy this weekend and entire week. Half of the office is out with something, and the mayor had a project due tomorrow morning for us to finish. Anyway. The first game was a cityfight highground with 750 points a side. To stay with our narrative I used a mek for the force commaner instead of a Warboss. Using the main building for cover I bunched up the boyz behind it. He moved into an arc that would lay waste to anyone entering it, but forgot about my kommandos hiding on his flank. They charged and occupied half of his front with the combat. At that point the boyz just swept through. He made about 75% of his WBB roles. It wasn't until the top of turn 6 that I finally took down his Lord with the Ressurection Orb. That spelled the end for him with all but 2 of his warriors down by the bottom of turn six. ;D The second game the Necron player designed the senario - 1500 points a side in a modified bunker assault with the ork landing ships being bunkers with 2 damage points each. If he could destroy both ships then he automaticaly won. My trukk assault in turn 2 demolished him His two front infantry units were overrun, the Nob with a powerklaw killed the Lord with a res orb. The amazing moment was Duffdrek charging the Monolith alone with a superstik bomb. Needing a 6 to hit, he got it, then a 4 to glance, he rolled a 5 to penetrate, then a 4 to kill it. (This is where the different rules were tricky - Monoliths only get one die for armor pen, but SSbombs get 2. However if the bomb rolls doubles then the mek takes a wound getting caught in the explosion. We decided to roll 2 different colors with the "black die of death" hitting the Monolith and the white die was checking for doubles. Yep, I rolled two 5's so the Monolith went down, and Duffdrek was injured.) The two trukks in the charge were so deadly that I accomplished a turn 3 phase out. It was a good thing too because he had 8 destroyers and a heavy destroyer in range of the two bunkers when it ended.

I have a hard time writing in ork speak, so I figured it would be a lot easier if I wrote the story through human eyes. I have a side story that also fills in some of the gaps between battles. It's called With the Kaptin! in the side-stories thread.
