Greetings fellow craftworlders. I thought we could use at least one out of character thread for organizing our plans and defining our goals, so here it is.
These are the ideas I can offer so far, and they are plotlines I have already begun in my narrative.
1.) Primary goal-- investigate the crystal ship in the mountains of the hulk. Retrieve/destroy anything of use there. This will be aided by the secondary goal.
2.) Secondary goal-- contain the "lesser races" to the planet. In short do what we can to attack their air/space bases so that only those arriving from outside the system can interfere on the Hulk.
These are my plans. I am willing to support others in theirs as well, but I feel like we need to get on one page here. All ideas are welcome. I am hoping eldarcommander will have some ideas in particular.
It would also be useful to have a "roll call" of sorts so we can list each other for support in our batreps.
Thanks in advance, and good hunting in the meantime.

Well I know I'm adding at least point 3. 3. Contain and push back the Tyranid splinter fleet. Also is the investigation of the Crystal ship the Eldar's over all goal, or is that just something you came up with Kyrolon? Also I think we should have a point 4. 4. Stop loosing

That was just something I came up with. It was the thing that most peaked my interest in the original intro, so I wrote it into my story. If someone has additional/alternate goals I am all for them. As far as I know the Mods and Reps did not assign any specific goals for each race, but some (Imperial and orks) are more obvious than others.
I was hoping we could use this thread to shape some overall direction to things in our games at least.

Yeah, an overrall analysis of our goals is not bad idea. However, I am not the leader, I am just here to manage the bat reps and get everything kinda organized for the weekly updates. I would suggest that we stop losing though

In light of EldarCommander's post I propose the following. rddragon5 with his Iyanden force has a natural enemy in the Tyranids, and it appears he has a regular opponent who is playing in the campaign as well. I can also play games against 'nids.
As I have indicated in my narratives "I" have sent a force to Tiorl 7. I'll support Rddragon5's efforts on Tiorl 7 with this force. Perhaps he, his force, or something far off is what Vialia is trying to save by destroying the splinter fleet.
At the same time, I'll be following my own goal of investigating the Crystal ship embedded in the hulk as well. I would appreciate any support others can give.
If anyone else has any plans, or ideas for a campaign strategy feel free to share. I think it is in the Eldar way to coordinate a plan, but strive toward the goal as each farseer sees it.

Well thanks for the help in trying to erradicate this Tyranid scum. I was going to start writing my lists, and fluff with the understanding that I'd have some Alaitoc troops helping out, namely rangers, and units of aspect warriors (something Iyanden lacks). Feel free to steal my idea and say any of your wraithlords, or wraithguard come from Iyanden.

I'd be more than happy to do whatever it is that's needed of me and mine... though the more it's against Tau, the better That's my buddy's main army, though I've told him he's free to use my SM and IG forces...

Thanks for the offer Althanan. I don't think it matters who you fight, as long as we work toward a common goal. For example, if I understand correctly, if we all submit batreps in the same geographic location and list the another member in the "this battle is in support of" line of the batrep form, then we will start to have more of an impact.
My suggestion then, and my question to the other Eldar players is where do we attack? So far I did 1 Batrep in the Celestine Peaks on Tiorl 7 (the first batrep -- a loss), and one in the Glasswind Heights on The Plucked Eye.
So far it seems like my Farseer, Vialia is set on exploring the Hulk. Rddragon5's Farseer, Vralis is killing Tyranids on Tiorl 7. Rddragon, where on Tiorl are you attacking? Maybe we can get a couple of the others to support you.
I am going to continue setting my fights in the Glasswind Heights, and would appreciate what support we can get there. If any other Craftworlders have additional plans let us all know so that none of us have to attack alone.
Good luck!

Greetings Craftworld warriors. I've well equiped Iyanden force (ah so modest) ready and willing to assist in battle. We've yet to jump in system (I've a battlefleet gothic game to post, a draw, to indicate our arrival) but once on hand we've a game already in hand (tyranids, a loss but not a serious one ) and others planned (mostly against Guard unfortunately). Where can I be of use?

Holy mother we've got a lot of Iyanden here. Looks like like we could play the fluff as each of us as a commander of one of the Iyaden fleet's vessiles. I've already writen fluff saying the Iyanden fleet was sucked into the system in the wake of the warp storm. It seems rather odd that after that ANOTHER TWO Iyaden fleets show up.
So basically vedalslayer, althanan, and I are all generals in this smaller Iyanden fleet.
Well as Kyrolon mentioned I've had a battle on Tiorl 7, that took place on the Celestine Peaks, as that is where my friend (greyhunter) the Tyranid player is having his nids attack the imperial base there, and I've showed up to stop the nids. The lucky guard, and marines, just happen to get my help by extention.
If we wanted to sound unifed on Tiorl 7 I was suggest getting as many games in against nids as possible, with the odd game against guard, and marines saying that for their own good we're forceably removing them from the area of the next nid attack.
Finally greyhunter was right in saying that we should have a d**n good reason for Iyanden to WANT to get into more fights. What if this splinterfleet of nids was actually what was left of the fleet that attacked the Iyanden craftworld, and that a new strain of nids had evolved that were the ultimate eldar killer. Can supress psychic powers, faster and sifter then eldar, and with knowledge for fighting different aspect warriors.
So not only do we have a personal grudge against these nids, but to stop this new strain from reaching a larger fleet and becoming common we have to stop them here and now.

I'm liking the thought Rddragon5. I think the splinter fleet fluff works quiet well. I've a couple of nid players I could get going regards that. nice. I've a couple of BIG Imperial games coming up as well so can put them up as that too. this could work quiet well. I'll get my troops introduction up soon enough.

I think Rddragon5 has a winner! I will continue my prosecution of the forces on the plucked eye. Maybe that ship embedded in the hulk has something to do with this new strain? I'll be fighting a game tomorrow against 'Nids again most likely. Batrep will go up on Wed as my week 2 report. I'll set it in the Glasswind heights. One other thing to think about. While Eldar are sensitive to casualties, if the goal is great enough they won't hesitate to go all out to achieve it. A renewed threat to Iyanden, or another craftworld would be met with a maximum effort. Tyranids it is. We will cleanse the system of their stench!

Just to let you guys know those missing soul stones, yeah that was just my warlock rounding them up before the nids could get them, but let the lesser races worry about what may or may not have happened Anyway I was thinking if we want this new nid strain idea to be in the campaign then we need to give it a proper name like "Geneseed Menace" so that we can put it into the reports for battles under the "ongoing plot" section. Also make sure to mention it in the fluff parts of the battle reports. If you want to add in any rules for the strain I was thinking for any genestealer unit for 5 points per unit no psychic powers may be used within 6" of the unit, this includes warlocks powers "turning off".

greetings again brothers (and sisters?) I added a response to vedalslayer's communication to give the operations names. These are meant to be from an Alaitoc perspective, but we can change them if you want to, then we can forward them to the moderators.
Good job with the narratives, everyone. I think we have a good storyline going here, at least I am enjoying it. Now all we have to do is work on point 4 above. ;D Sorry I'm not helping with that. I'm still getting the hang of 4th ed and the new codex. Everthing old is new again it seems.
