“Spiritseer Vralis?” asked Yalor
“That is the name the message mentioned.” confirmed the Guardian leader to Yalor.
“I know this name. he is an experienced Spiritseer. Why is he here?”
“his Fleet was reported in this immediate area but no orders were known for him to explore fresh space”
“prehapes he was blown off course? or took the initiative?”
“Are such question relevant Farseer?” asked a new voice. Yalor turned to find himself looking up into the clear white helmet of Darrk, Exarch of the Warp Spiders and his military advisor on the planet. The Exarchs battle armour dwarfed Yalor even though he too was fully dressed for battle. Darrks crab like smooth up shell extended over this shoulders and his hunched appearance did not distract from the fact he was very tall for an Eldar, making his armoured appearance all the more intimidating.
“Exarch Darrk, an honour to meet you at last” Yalor bowed. he wasn't required too. he did, after all, outrank Darrk. But he had heard the same stories everyone else had. At how brutally effective Darrk was in battle. skilled, and ruthless.
“No need to stand on ceremony Farseer” Darrk said next. His voice was deep and carried that air of barely contained energy that all Exarchs seemed to exert. Palpable bloodlust ready to be unleashed.
“Have you spoken with Vralis yet?”
“no Darrk.” replied Yalor, taken aback that Darrk used Vralis's name without his title. was this an insult? Or simply Darrks mannor.
“Good.” replied Darrk. “We would do well to coordinate our actions in battle. The attack on the hive structure failed. that is a pity. Prehapes we should strike elsewhere? And prehapes Vralis can provide us with this information?”
“of course.” confirmed Yalor. He concealed his confusion (or was it shock?) at Darrks continued use of Vralis's name as apposed to his title and name. It seemed Darrk was not paying respect. but Yalor knew that Exarchs were a power onto there own. mightly worries with few qualms and no time for respect and diplomacy. Only war. such was the way of the warrior.
“We'll combine our efforts. I shall communicate with Vralis....Spirit Seer Vralis personally.”
Darrk nodded.
“good”. He then turned and disappeared, his jump generator activating in a sudden silent releash of energy.
Yalor looked back at the Guardian commander but the Eldar just shrugged.
“get used to it.” he said, by way of explanation.

“Spiritseer Vralis, I bid you greetings and fair tidings in this time of woe. We have spoken with our brothers upon the fleet of Alaitoc and they have enlightened us to your intentions. We stand ready to assist you in battle. already we our upon this world in the Celestine peaks. We have repelled one attack by the Great Devourer but when we attacked them we were unable to destroy one of there communication structures. We ask now what further help we may be to you and your kin in this battle against an old enemy. We have a full warhost at our disposal and I myself have been placed in its command. I shall await your word. Farseer Yalor.”
